Barb Carlson specializes in bite-training. She takes in the ferrets that bite ( more rare than you'd think, given the bad PR they get) and teaches them people are nice and there are better ways to interact. She has an entire program she follows. So far it's worked pretty well. A few of the previous biters are still a little nippy but don't leave you bleeding.

She did kitten rescue before she got into ferret rescue. Barb also tamed down semi-feral kittens and found homes for them. She has owned ferrets for 18 years.
