UPDATE: Nikita is now completely healed, happy, and playful and ready to liven up your home.
Nikita is an albino female. She and another ferret were tossed out a car window on Route 19 in Washington, PA. Some people saw it happen and picked up the ferrets and took them to a vet's office. The boy was adopted from the vet's office, but this little girl was brought to me.
When she came in, she had a cut over her left eye, as she apparently landed on her head. She was otherwise uninjured, though, and she's a very lucky little ferret.
She's deaf and while she was a little wary of strangers when she came in, she seems to have gotten over that.
When this little girl plays, she plays hard. She wants to be run around like a maniac, where she races back and forth getting into anything and everything. She's a fast little thing, darting around, stopping to look at you and dashing off. I've been joking that she's ADHD, but that really describes all ferrets. :)
She's all ready to trash ... er ... liven up your home! Probably not a good choice for a home with small children.
